About Us
Leer Design is a multidisciplinary studio based in Westport, County Mayo and run by Caroline McAleer. Experienced and qualified in graphic design and digital media. Available for brand development, promotional work, design for social media and design for print. We also take commissions for creative projects. Put together designs for publications and advertisements.
Creativity is at the root of all work. Developing ideas and updating technical skills whenever possible. A selection of high quality prints are available to buy. Designed in house from concept development to final pieces. This work comes from a love of design, photography and typography.
The work is photographic collage with graphic elements and typography. Caroline is influenced by her surroundings in the West of Ireland, the repetitive systematics of nature and the beauty found along the wild Atlantic way. Colour is very important throughout the work, providing bright bold additions to any interior. The work represents this idea of pattern while incorporating aspects of geometric shapes, line and type. It is a love of nature combined with a love of colour and graphic design. All photos used and all finished pieces are owned by Leer Design.
